The Annual Veteran POW- MIA Riders Grand Tour is designed as a fund raiser benefiting the Veteran POW-MIA Riders Scholarship Program. This year, the Grand Tour theme is the birthplaces of the eight Virginia Presidents.
The Grand Tour features a Passport Booklet with history and directions to each birthplace throughout Virginia. Included with your Passport is this year's Veteran POW-MIA Riders Grand Tour Pin. Suitable for wear on your Vest or Jacket, the Pin lets everyone know you rode the Grand Tour and that your Grand Tour donation helped further a veteran's child or recently returned veteran's education.
You travel at your own pace and visit the sites in any order. The directions listed to these locations are the most direct. You of course may choose to plot your own route. The idea is designed for your pleasure and to tour our beautiful Commonwealth of Virginia while supporting local Veterans who gave so much.
It's easy to get your Grand Tour Passport and Pin. They can be obtained from any Club member, at most motorcycle shops in the Valley, or by emailing us at the links below. Each Passport, with Pin, costs $20, but remember, besides the fun of riding Virginia, your making a donation to the Veteran's Scholarship Fund. 100% of your donation goes to a scholarship supporting our local Veterans.
We hope you will enjoy the rides, seeing the varied and scenic landscape and roads of Virginia. Most roads have numerous points of interest along the way.
